Kannada Rajyotsva day is festival or event celebrated in Karnataka on  November 1st of every year and also people around the state celebrate this festival throught out November month making it very special event and month for every kannadiga.

History behind Kannada Rajyostva: November 1st was the  day in 1956 when all the Kannada language-speaking regions of South India were merged to form the state of Karnataka

In this post, I have tried to list the conversation which can happen while you are waiting for a bus in bus stop or bus depot .  This is for the non Kannada people who wants to learn and wants to start conversation in kannada..Happy Learning..!!!

While waiting for bus in local bus stops in any cities like Bangalore/Mysore:


Person1:
In English:                         Will I get a bus for Jayanagar from this stop?           
Kannada Translation:          Illi jayanagar ge hogo bus barutta..??
Kannada word:                  ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಜಯನಗರ ಗೆ ಹೋಗೊ ಬಸ್ ಬರುತ್ತಾ?


Person2:
In English:                         Yes
Kannada word:                  Houdu
Kannada Translation:         ಹೌದು


Person1:
In English:                        Can you tell me the bus numbers..?         
Kannada Translation:         Bus numbers gottidre heli..??
Kannada word:                  ಬಸ್ ನಂಬರ್ಸ್ ಗೊತ್ತಿದ್ರೆ ಹೇಳಿ..??
